Phrasely Privacy Policy

Phrasely is an Android app for storing and practicing bilingual phrase pairs. The app stores all user data (categories, phrases, practice statistics) locally on the device.

Data Collected by the App Itself

Phrasely does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. There is no login, no account, no cloud sync, no analytics SDK, and no advertising. All data lives on the device only. Nothing leaves your phone unless you explicitly export a backup file via the system file picker.

Children's Privacy

Phrasely is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. The app does not follow Google Play's Families Policy and is not directed at children.

Your Rights

Because Phrasely stores all of your phrase data locally on your device, you control it directly:

• Export — Settings → Backup → Export creates a JSON file containing all of your categories, phrases, and practice statistics. You choose where to save it.
• Delete — Uninstalling Phrasely removes all locally-stored data.

Optional: Buy Me a Coffee Tip Jar

Settings → Support development opens an external Buy Me a Coffee page (buymeacoffee.com/mizar) in your browser. Phrasely itself does not see, receive, or store any payment information. Tips are processed entirely by Buy Me a Coffee under their own privacy policy. The link is optional, dismissible, and not required to use any feature of the app.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated text will be published at the same URL and the Effective Date above will be updated. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the document for at least 30 days.
